Facial lines result from repetitive facial movement in skin that has been damaged and has lost collagen and elastic tissue.  Dermal fillers are clear gels consisting of stabilized hyaluronic acid that bear and bind water, thus smoothing wrinkles and folds.  Cheeks are fuller combating that hollow, drawn appearance tha tcharacterises the ageing face.  Dermal fillers last between 12 months to 18 months.

When applied as a rejuvenation technique,small quantities of clostridium botulinum are injected into specifical facial muscles causing them to relax (or freeze).  The muscles are no longer able to flex thus stopping the formation of lines. Injections take 2 weeks to take full effect and last approximately 3 months.

The neck is an area which can show the first signs of ageing for women. It is a real bug bear for some, and with the help of anti-wrinkle injections this area and be kept youthful.  It is always best to start as early as possible before deep static lines take effect. For necks that have significant ageing, there may be only a 10-15% improvement with treatment and the results can prove disappointing in some cases. 

Hyperhidrosis is excessive sweating. Some people produce sweat in amounts far greater than needed to control their temperature. This can cause extreme embarrassment for some. When small amounts of Botox is injected into the skin, this blocks the nerves that supply the eccrine glands, preventing glands from producing sweat.  The effects of treatment wear off in around 5-6 months.
